Sonic Speed Run is a fan-made browser runner built around the blue hedgehog rather than an official game. You move fast by default and the challenge is reacting to what appears in front of you without losing momentum.

The genre lives or dies on whether speed feels earned, and the trick with any runner like this is to look further ahead than feels natural. Watching the ground directly in front of the character is the most common reason a run ends early.

It runs in the browser with no download, using simple movement and jump controls. Runs are short, so a failed attempt costs you nothing but the decision to press start again.
