Fighting games are about spacing before they are about buttons. Two characters, one small arena, and a constant question: am I close enough to hit, and close enough to be hit? Everything else — combos, specials, blocking — sits on top of that.
Browser fighting games keep the idea and drop the complexity. Instead of memorising twenty-input command lists, you get a handful of attacks and a jump, and the skill becomes reading your opponent and picking the right moment. Stickman brawlers, ragdoll physics duels and superhero matchups all land here.
They run in the browser with nothing to install. Most use a keyboard, and many include a two-player mode on one keyboard — one player on WASD, the other on the arrows — which is the most fun way to play any of them. Against the computer, watch for the pattern; almost every AI here has one.
