Brainrot Bridge Race 3D is a running race where the finish line is only half the scoring. You sprint through an obstacle course alongside other runners while collecting bananas, and the bananas feed an evolution: the more you gather, the bigger the brainrot you are running as becomes. That creates a tension the genre usually lacks, because the fastest line through a course is rarely the line with the most bananas on it. Early in a race, detouring for a cluster is usually worth it, since an evolution carries through the rest of the run. Late in a race, with the pack close behind, the direct line wins. The obstacles reward memory more than reflexes, so a course you have already lost once is a course you can win. The second attempt is where you know which gaps are jumpable and which detours actually pay for the time they cost.
